Skattykats have a challenge called "Sing When You're Blinging" well as I have said before I love sparkle! So I had to have a go and here it is. I stamped the penguin couple with blue stazon. I restamped the flower onto white paper and put a gem in the middle. I then coloured them in with watercolours. I matted the penguins onto blue glitter card. I then stamped varios images and glittered them. I then added a subtle sprinkling of gems .

Pink Skull?
I managed to do Leonies challenge last night but had to wait till today for it to all dry! This weeks challenge could have been made for me it's "A Little Bit of Glitter." So I inked a grungeboard skull with pink ink and then dotted gold krylon pen onto it and glittered it with stickles. I then made a crown and photo corner on my wizard both of which have been glittered too. White gems have been added to the crown! I then stamped the words and covered them in glossy accents. Final glittery touch is three glittery brads. Ok not really a little bit of glitter more like a lot of glitter

Background Coffee
I thought I'd have another go at Allison's Challenge today - this week it is "playing with backgrounds." So I used my Italian poetry stamp from hero arts and stamped it with versafine vintage sepia. What else could I put with all that italian writing other than coffee? So I stamped onto some white vellum with my impression obsession coffee stamps and stamped a quote then I backed all the pieces onto holographic mirri card . I finished it all off with some brown ribbon, brown brads and a silver wire swirl!
Baby
For this weeks challenge I used the free stamp from Craft Stamper this month. I stamped it first on the pink flowery paper with black versafine and then on some handmade paper and cut out the body of the pram. I then used a button for the pramwheel and stitched it onto the card. Some white paper was then embossed with a cuttlebug folder and a ribbon tied around it. The card was finished off with a teddy bear charm, liquid pearls and three large brads.

Flowers
Here is a very green card. I started by stamping the anitas sentiment in black versafine. Then I embossed some green card with my cuttlebug embossing folder. The background flowery paper is handmade paper. The card was finished of with a prima flower held on with a green brad and of course I added a bit of ribbon or it would have looked unfinished!

Nelly the Elephant
Nelly the elephant today - I'm in a red mood! So the elephant has been stamped in red then she's been backed with a white piece of paper that has been embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder. All the layers have been mounted onto some spotty red paper. nelly's adornments have been coloured with sakura gelly roll and aqualip pens. Ruby gems and red birthday ribbon are used for the finishing touches.

Smile for the Birdy
Well today flew by so I have had hardly any crafting time!! This card is made with a Heidi Swapp "smile" stamp which I coloured in with glossy accents just to make it stand out. Then I stamped a cute little hero arts bird and stamped him again on blue paper and cut his wings out. To finish off I added ribbon of course but eyelets for a change!

Scrappy
Allison's challenge this week is to use up some scraps - so that is exactly what I did! I rummaged through all my scraps of paper and card for nice pieces I could use. Then it was the turn of the desk for all the little bits the stamp is a new one but I had stamped the image earlier to try it out. I could actually make thousands of card just using scraps

Birthday Envelope - Coffee m8ts
Here at last is my birthday envelope! Our teams theme is "Nature" so here we go!
Then a butterfly was stamped with stazon onto some acetate which was then glittered on the wrong side with stickles. Once dry a bindi was added for a pretty body.
I started with a plain brown office envelope - (you wouldn't believe the trouble we had finding DL envelopes that open at the end anyway in the end I found the very last ones in the whole UK I think!!)I covered the envelope with green paper in two shades - then I stamped leaves all over it. I made a fastener with two big brads and some string.
Then a butterfly was stamped with stazon onto some acetate which was then glittered on the wrong side with stickles. Once dry a bindi was added for a pretty body.
An insert was made to match out of plain card covered in the same green papers. I used a word stamp - stamped in brown versafine for the background then small butterflies were stamped and coloured with stickles and given small bindi bodies.
The back of the insert was stamped with the text background stamp and leaves were coated in glossy accents and stuck on!
The insert was then finished with an eyelet and some string so it can be easily removed from the envelope.
