Music For the Heart

At long last play time Smile so I've done "Leonies Fab Friday Number 7 - Music for the Heart"
I started by printing off the lyrics of "Timbaland - Apologize"on paper and acetate. I then coloured the background with two red ink pads and gilded the edges. Then I gilded a slide frame and put some of the acetate behind and backed it with some crafty individuals paper.
Lastly I took a grungeboard heart and coloured it with the red pads I stamped a design by Heidi Grace and doodled over it with my inkssentials pen and filled the flower with glossy accents. I then gilded the edges again. It was all finished off with a butterfly charm and a rub on in the corner of the frame.

Martini?

A card for an old friend so out came my house mouse stamps. I coloured them in with water colours and cut the name on my cricut (what did I do before I got that?) Another quick card1 Hopefully I'll find some time soon to do some real playing!!

Bird Ribbon

I started by stamping the crafty individuals bird stamp with brown versafine. Then I restamped the image and embossed it - I then cut the frame. I then coloured the leaves in with watercolour pencils. Glossy accents were added to the bird. The bird was then matted onto holographic silver card. The background paper is from the english paper company - siesta mocha. I finished the card off with brown ribbon passed through a large brad and gold gems. The little flower at the corner of the frame is cut using a punch.

Spanish Lady

Allisons challenge this week is to use one of the

Girls of the world clip art images! So I printed them out and chose the spanish lady.I masked her so only her dress would pick up the stamped flowers . Then I coloured the rest of her with watcolour pencils.I made her fan sparkley with stickles and finished the card of with my old faithful ribbon and a couple of brads.

Badger is 60!

I get some strange requests for things to put on cards and this time was no exception. A badger ! It doesn't matter how much stuff I have people always find something I haven't got Rolling Eyes . Anyway I did it I found a cute badger on the computer and cut the numbers with the cricut. The tag is made with a quickutz die. Words are all done with peel offs because I had to hurry up and get the card finished. Actually I'm really pleased with this card Cool

Thanks a Bunch

The bunches of grapes were stamped with royal purple stazon. I then coloured the leaves with green gelly roll pen and the grapes with glossy accents. The Thanks a bunch words are actually part of a stamp with flowers on but I thought it was very appropriate so I masked the flowers off to use it! Guess how I finished it all off Mouth At Side

Bling Celebration

Skattykats have a challenge called "Sing When You're Blinging" well as I have said before I love sparkle! So I had to have a go and here it is. I stamped the penguin couple with blue stazon. I restamped the flower onto white paper and put a gem in the middle. I then coloured them in with watercolours. I matted the penguins onto blue glitter card. I then stamped varios images and glittered them. I then added a subtle sprinkling of gems .

Pink Skull?

I managed to do Leonies challenge last night but had to wait till today for it to all dry! This weeks challenge could have been made for me it's "A Little Bit of Glitter." So I inked a grungeboard skull with pink ink and then dotted gold krylon pen onto it and glittered it with stickles. I then made a crown and photo corner on my wizard both of which have been glittered too. White gems have been added to the crown! I then stamped the words and covered them in glossy accents. Final glittery touch is three glittery brads. Ok not really a little bit of glitter more like a lot of glitter Open Mouth

Background Coffee

I thought I'd have another go at Allison's Challenge today - this week it is "playing with backgrounds." So I used my Italian poetry stamp from hero arts and stamped it with versafine vintage sepia. What else could I put with all that italian writing other than coffee? So I stamped onto some white vellum with my impression obsession coffee stamps and stamped a quote then I backed all the pieces onto holographic mirri card . I finished it all off with some brown ribbon, brown brads and a silver wire swirl!

Baby

For this weeks challenge I used the free stamp from Craft Stamper this month. I stamped it first on the pink flowery paper with black versafine and then on some handmade paper and cut out the body of the pram. I then used a button for the pramwheel and stitched it onto the card. Some white paper was then embossed with a cuttlebug folder and a ribbon tied around it. The card was finished off with a teddy bear charm, liquid pearls and three large brads.
