I've decided to raid a chipboard box I bought ages ago from QVC - lots of fab chipboard bits and pieces. So here is the front cover of the book that is resulting from the raid. I covered the background in green and silver dabbers then edged it with silver leafing krylon pen. The slid mount was then coloured silver and little flowers and dots added.I then coloured the grungeboard swirl with silver krylon pen and added some chipboard flowers. Just got the other pages to do now!

Friend

I must stop playing and do some housework here is my next play for today! This bird stamp is another favourite and I found it while hunting for another stamp so I had to play didn't I? I edged all the layers with gold pen and put krylon on the hinges. The bird was finished off with glossy accents and an acrylic thingy.

Friendly Lion

Another of Linda's fab stamps this time the gorgeous cuddly lion. I do think he looks good with the gilded grungeboard crown. I embossed the gold card with a cuttlebug embossing folder.Finished off again with acrylic sticky blobby things!

Memories Slide Mailer

I have been making this slide mailer for

about a year now! So I thought it was about time I pulled my finger out and get it finished! It looks nothing like it did to start with. All stamps used areTim Holtz.

French Kiss!

The only reason this card has been named as it is is because the film French Kiss with Meg Ryan is on the television at the moment.

I stamped the background of the card with swirls. The stamped the take time tag image 4 times on different papers. I cut out different parts of the tag from the various papers and placed them back on the tag! Confused yet? I then inked up some small grungeboard shapes and added gold krylon pen. I finished it off with some doo dahs, white inkssentials pen and glossy accents which as usual I didn't wait long enough for them to dry before taking the photo!! Oh and a bit of ribbon and a brad and a tiny eyelet!

Burnt Offerings!

For Allison's Challenge this week you had to burn part of your card but me being a real coward I couldn't. Allison had added a link to her blog showing how to burn using inks - well how to make it look burnt then! So I did that instead! Much safer So I inked the stamp with distress inks then went round the edges of the tag with my scissors to make it look raggy (I can't find my edge distresser anywhere!) Then I inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The text was added with the vintage photo ink too. I then added eyelets and grungeboard which was inked in pink. A dragonfly brad finishes it off.

Took me a whole week to get this far.

Wicked

An atc today I inked the background with destress inks. I then stamped the skull with brown stazon and coloured the roses with white and green sakura gelly roll pens. I then stamped the words in brown distress ink. A big eyelet and a grungeboard crown that has been guilded finish the atc off!

Music For the Heart

At long last play time so I've done "Leonies Fab Friday Number 7 - Music for the Heart"

I started by printing off the lyrics of "Timbaland - Apologize"on paper and acetate. I then coloured the background with two red ink pads and gilded the edges. Then I gilded a slide frame and put some of the acetate behind and backed it with some crafty individuals paper.

Lastly I took a grungeboard heart and coloured it with the red pads I stamped a design by Heidi Grace and doodled over it with my inkssentials pen and filled the flower with glossy accents. I then gilded the edges again. It was all finished off with a butterfly charm and a rub on in the corner of the frame.

Pink Skull?

I managed to do Leonies challenge last night but had to wait till today for it to all dry! This weeks challenge could have been made for me it's "A Little Bit of Glitter." So I inked a grungeboard skull with pink ink and then dotted gold krylon pen onto it and glittered it with stickles. I then made a crown and photo corner on my wizard both of which have been glittered too. White gems have been added to the crown! I then stamped the words and covered them in glossy accents. Final glittery touch is three glittery brads. Ok not really a little bit of glitter more like a lot of glitter

Party on Down

This weeks "Sunday Stamper Challenge" is "Party Hats!" So seeing as today feels like sunday again I thought I would do the challenge. I started by colouring the whole tag with adirondack pool dabber - then I stamped the image which is from paperbag studios in blue stazon. I really think this boy looks like he could do with a good party! I then stamped the wotds on a seperate piece of card and cut it out and stuck it on. I then coloured his grungeboard party hat with the dabbers and put gold flakes and gems on it. I also put gold flakes down the edge. I finished the tag off with some glossy accents on the little circle at the bottom.

What A Struggle!

Boy have I found it hard to make anything today - 6 atcs later and I have managed to produce something half decent!! I started by covering the atc with K & co paper then I went about covering it up! I stamped the Stampers Anonymous saying - then covered a grungeboard heart with gold flakes. Next I stamped "the heart" words on green sparkly vellum and cut round it and stuck it on. I finished it off with gold krylon down two edges and a few gold sparkly stickers. Think I need to go for a rest now!

For me!

I've just finished decorating a book I was given for christmas. All of the pages apart from the front cover have been coloured with dabbers.

The stamping has been done with various stazon pads and i have added little embellishments all over the place!
