Blue atc

An atc this time stamped with stampers anonymous stamps and embossed with gold - easy peasy!!

Girls just want to have FUN!

I had to have a little play today because I have been making wedding place cards and I relly needed to do something different. So I made a pretty girly card. The little girl stamp is from creative stamping and she has been coloured with watercolour pencils. The little round embellishments are from papermania. All finished off with a bit of ribbon.

Love atcs

I've made three atcs all similar but different if you know what i mean! Anyway they were all made using a love stamp. I have just made the backgrounds different but all backgrounds have had details highlighted with white gellyroll pen. They also all have mini tags with little tiny hearts on them. I'm quite pleased with how they have turned outDumb

A card for Doli

I've killed two birds with one card today - not literally !! I had to make a birthday card for a friend and I thought I would do the "My Time to Craft Challenge "at the same time. The challenge this week is "things with wings" so here we are. I stamped the Crafty Individuals stamp on purple paper then again on some white vellum. I cut the vellum butterflies out and glittered the edges of the wings with stickles and placed a pretty bindi for the bodies. I used sticker letter for the name and finished it with a sparkly purple brad.

Mother's Day.

Mother's day this sunday so I thought I'd better get my card making head on! First a card for my mother-in-law - I decided cheerful spring colours were the way to go so I really went for it as you can see ! I stamped the pot of flowers then coloured them in with water colour pencils finishing the middle of the flowers with yellow gelly roll pen. I then cut the word with my cricut and the flowers with a sizzlet die finishing the card with 2 green brads for the flower centres.
Hope she likes it - better go and make one for my mum now!!

Time Keyring

While I had my clock and watch stamps out I coloured a 2 inch square of stampboard with green dabbers then stamped a newspaper frame around the watch. I then coloured the edge with copper dabber and filled the face of the watch with crackle accent and placed a tiny gem in the centre of the hands.

A Stitch in Time!

Time for sunday stamper challenge again - in fact TIME is the theme this week! And yes yet again I have made more than one - well I made one then had to wait for the glossy accents to dry so I made a second one!!

The first tag still hasn't dried but I took a photo anyway as you can see!! I covered the tag with dabbers to start with. The main stamp is from hero arts and through the glossy accents you might be able to read Take Time. I then stamped the pocket watch around the edges and stamped a full watch which I then added crackle accent to - though this doesn't show up on the picture!
For my second tag - A Stitch in Time I used this lady sewing stamp from The Artistic Stamper then used two images of pocket watches for the background .

Blue Sister

Yet another girly card - I love making girly cards Heart Beat these letters and numbers were cut with a sizzix machine - the only problem with using shiny card for the word is I always get glue on them but I did quite well this time! I then added a small star charm and ribbon.

Girly Lucy!

I have just made what must be the girliest card ever and I love it - I hope Lucy does Smile All the embellishments and letters were cut on my cricut - then sparkles of all kinds were added where ever I could cause I love sparkles - don't know if anyone has ever noticed that!

Pretty or what?

What the Bird said!

These stamps are from Stampington & co . The background has been smudged with distress ink in green and the bird was stamped first in brown then over the top with black. The little "a little bird told me..." tag has been given the glossy accents treatment. Finally I went around the edge with brown stazon.

Smile Please

Purple butterfly stickers and purple stazon make up this card. I stamped the smile with the stazon and then outlined it with a white gelly roll pen. Purple butterfly stickers were then stuck onto some paper and cut out then I stuck them on randomly.

Sweet Owl

Sweet owl this time another stamp my son found today! He is very good at spending my money for me. The owl has been coloured in with water colour pencils. Then the card finished again with a ribbon and tag but I added loads of sparkly gems to look like stars. Plain but simple!

Monkey Mayhem

I decided to make a cute card as well today and this a new stamp that my son found today. I stamped the monkey with black stazon - the monkey stamp is by woodware. Then for the background I embossed some green paper with Cuttlebug embossing folder. Ribbon and a mini tag stamped with laugh were added to finish it off.

Man Card

I did it! I made the man card today - yippee!! - and I have two days to spare! I cut the name on my cricut then I stamped the Happy birthday on the background paper with stazon but it still looked unfinished so I raided my brad stash and finished it of with six of them. I hope he likes it! I must remember to post it tomorrow Dumb

The love stamp is by anitas stamped in black. The metal accents are by Papermania and I added glossy accents to the centres. All finished off with a ribbon and three gelly stickers.
Must go now and make the birthday card I need or I will need a belated card!!

Pretty ATC.

Something small from me today - the sparkle on this doesn't really show up on the photo! I have glittered parts of the twigs (another of my fab stamps by Linda!) and added stickles to the dragonflys - then star shaped gems for a finishing twinkle!

Hopefully now she will forgive me Smile

Disney 2007

Today my challenge was attempt the Craft Swap Scrapbook Challenge for February. An easy task you might think - you have to used something red, something ripped and something round also two or more photos. Here is my first attempt as you might spot something is missing!

Yup I could only fit one photo on! I'm going to be in trouble when Lesley sees it Mouth At Side

Lace card

Here is my card for the My Time to Craft Challenge - this week it is lace. For this I used a lace background stamp which I embossed with enchanted gold. Then I used the fairy stamp that I found again the other day. I finished the card off with some ribbon and a dragonfly brad.

Bird Challenge

Here is my attempt at the Sunday Stamper Challenge for this week - it is birds! Here is another of Lindas fab stamps. I inked the background of the tag with weathered wood destress ink then stamped the crane stamp with stazon - I highlighted the bullrushes and crane with a bronze embossing powder. Blue paper was added to top and bottom and the tag was finished off with the word bird!!

Elephant

Here is a quick card - it had to be quick because it's half term and I have to snatch what time I can to craft with the children around! Liquid pearl jewels were added to the cover and gold gelly roll pens used to colour in the braids.

Fairy

Not very inspired today ! But managed a couple of cards here is one made with a Rubber Stampede fairy stamp stamped in brown stazon. Then I stamped and embossed a hot off the press rik rak braid stamp down the edge and added a little dragonfly brad and some glittery stickers as the card looked a bit bare without them. Not too sure about this card so any comments good or bad will be gratefully received .

Butterfly Thoughts

Crafty Individuals miniature books have seen the light of day today - I started by inking a slide mount with Tim Holtz distress inks then found a flower image to match. A butterfly from the same book was given my usual treatment of a bindi! The background was stamped with a text stamp and the edges inked with gold a ribbon and little words used to finish it off.

Teddy

Here is a quick card I made today with one of Lindas stamps - I love this bear! I coloured him in with watercolour pencils and finished him off with a ribbon and little tag.

Misunderstood

A new stamp for a change today this one is a paperbag studios one - I love the look on this childs face - grumpy or what? I have stamped it with good old brown stazon then i added a ribbon held in place with some 7 gypsies gold wax ( how come this didn't work as well on the card as it did when I did it on a scrap to test it?? somebodies law I think! ) But I think the card has turned out ok.

Love for Valentines - Part 2

As I have been told to make two more for the Feb swap I did what I was told (anything for a peaceful life!) So these two are done on the same theme as the last one :-) How romantic am I making these atcs on Valentines Day?

Animals

Here a couple of stamps that I hadn't seen for absolutely ages so I dusted them down and made these cute animal atcs. Backing papers were again from my never ending scraps pile.

Wedding

More digging out old stamps that haven't been used for ages. This one a cute little wedding stamp - the tag is from a Sarah Lugg kit and I stamped using brown stazon.

Love for Valentines

More scraps of paper - yes I have loads! Seeing as though it is Valentines day I thought I'd make a romantic atc so here it is her lips and hair are coloured with chalks. Finished off with an eyelet and some fibres.

Orange!

Scrap atc's again today this one is made with one of my favourite stamps - orange isn't a colour I usually use but it was there so I used it! Nice and cheerful which is good at the moment.

Bee Happy

I dug out a stamp I hadn't used for a while today and thought it would be really good with the stamps I bought on Saturday. The bees are coloured with watercolour pencils. The happy was cut from patterned paper then stickles were used around the edges.

Newspaper Butterfly

I have managed to find a few spare minutes to make a card for the "My time to craft challenge" for this challenge we had to use some sort of newspaper. I got this vellum newspaper a while ago at Selfridges ( I knew it would come in handy eventually!!) The stamps I used are from Autumn Leaves and of course as usual I finished the butterfly with a sparkly body ( well a butterfly isn't dressed without a couple of gems)

Gellybean

A card for my mum to send to her friend today - I didn't really know where this card was going when i started so it sort of made itself! The letters are cut using a cricut and the prima flowers have been finished off with glittery brads - I hope they both like it!

Valentines for Lucy

my 9 year old son needed a card for Valentines day so I made him a sweet house mouse card. He chose the stamp I was to use then ran off! When it was finished he seemed to like it though so I think she might when she gets it.

The Pink Key Returns!

Seeing as though nobody else laughed at the pink key and because I'd inked two anyway I decided to make a card with the spare one. I think pink keys could become all the rage :o)

And another!

Once I get started there really is no stopping me! Another decoupaged thing for the Sunday Stamper Challenge. This time a card using a Crafty Individuals stamp again with butterflies and again finished with some little bindis!

Decoupaged tag

Week 3 of the Sunday Stamp Challenge set by Hels is decoupage a stamp (set by Andrea) and being in a crafting mood today I have got it done first day of the challenge !!!! I enjoyed it and might even do another one!!!!!

The stamp I used is a HeroArts one stamped in blue stazon for a change. Then I cut out the butterfly and used a bindi for its body - the gems on its wings took ages cause they are all stuck on seperately but I think they look quite good! I used glossy accents on the round piece and gelly roll pens to accent some of the flat features.

Posh Black &White

Today right at the last minute I have to admit I have got round to making something for the sunday stamper challenge that Hels set each week. Monochrome is the theme so here is a black and white tag! All stamping is done as usual for me with black stazon then the heart and flower are cut with sizzix dies. The heart has been made shiny with glossy accents. Button brads add a bit of detail to the flowers and my usual bit of sparkle is added with three small heart gems! Hope it okay!!!
