Buttons and Buckles

I started by stamping the words and leaves and buttons with vintage sepia versafine. I then cut out the leaves. For the backing paper I used K & co button paper. I added glossy accents to random buttons on the paper. The card was finished of with cream ribbon and a gold buckle cut with the quickutz.

Lola with Flowers

Another birthday present stamp! The pretty Lola! I stamped her in black stazon and the coloured with watercolour pencils. I then mounted her on holographic card. The pink card and mesh are by Papermania and the background paper is Laura Ashley. I finished her off with some pretty pink flowers and a touch of pink stickles. This card has been made with presents Smile how lucky am I??

Beautiful Bird

At last a chance to craft! A weekend of very little crafting! This card has been made with a gorgeous stamp I got for my birthday. I stamped it with versafine vintage sepia then added stickles to the swirls by the birds feet. Glossy accents were added to the postmark. Backing paper is from DCWV old world stack. I made a thin strip of paper to thread through a quickutz buckle and added a quickutz tag. It was all finished of with a sprinkling of gems Shocked

Bookmark Box

Allison's Challenge this week is "All Boxed Up" so I made a box. I took 5 chipboard coasters and coloured them with a Pool dabber and a copper dabber around the edges! I then stamped each side with blue stazon. I then punched holes around the edges with my crop-o-dile. Brown ribbon was then threaded through the holes (boy that was a struggle!) Then I finished it off with some acetate butterflies!

Florida 2007 Scrapbook page

This scrapbook page is meant to be a double layout for Lesleys Challenge on Craftswap but I didn't have enough photos so this is half of it part 2 to follow! I'm quite pleased with this page cause even though it is Christmas Day it's not a Chrismassy page Cool

Disney 2007

A box frame today that I eventually finished off

with the date today - not sure that the dimension shows up very well on the picture . I have put a Hersey Kiss and small Disney figures at the front. A great way to remember a great holiday Smile

Watch the Birdy!

For this weeks challenge I have stamped the bird image by Stampers Anonymous with black versafine, adding some detail with the glossy accents and added a blue gem to his eye. Then I stamped the Inkadinkado quote stamp in the same versafine ink and three of the gems were added - this was then mounted onto holographic silver card. I then layered up three different background papers and added a ribbon.

Baby Baby

An easy card for an order today for a first granddaughter! I cut the baby face out with my sizzix and then cut it again in white and embossed the clothes and bow with a cuttlebug embossing folder. I then printed the words from the compuer and cut a tag shape on the sizzix again! I finished the card with some fuzzy baby girl hands and a ribbon for the tag.

French Kiss!

The only reason this card has been named as it is is because the film French Kiss with Meg Ryan is on the television at the moment.

I stamped the background of the card with swirls. The stamped the take time tag image 4 times on different papers. I cut out different parts of the tag from the various papers and placed them back on the tag! Confused yet? I then inked up some small grungeboard shapes and added gold krylon pen. I finished it off with some doo dahs, white inkssentials pen and glossy accents which as usual I didn't wait long enough for them to dry before taking the photo!! Oh and a bit of ribbon and a brad and a tiny eyelet!

Burnt Offerings!

For Allison's Challenge this week you had to burn part of your card Shocked but me being a real coward I couldn't. Allison had added a link to her blog showing how to burn using inks - well how to make it look burnt then! So I did that instead! Much safer Smile So I inked the stamp with distress inks then went round the edges of the tag with my scissors to make it look raggy (I can't find my edge distresser anywhere!) Then I inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The text was added with the vintage photo ink too. I then added eyelets and grungeboard which was inked in pink. A dragonfly brad finishes it off.
Took me a whole week to get this far.

A Few more Tilda

Some more of the tilda images that Lesley sent me. I have used them all up now but really enjoyed playing! And I made my first Christmas card for this year!

Tilda

My friend Lesley sent me some stamped tilda images - so thank you Lesley ! So I've had fun playing ! The background paper of this card is DCWV Nana's kids - nice and bright. I then coloured the image in with watercolour pencils and glittered the wings and hat. A little bit of ribbon (just for Andrea Smile ) and some teeny weeny brads finish the card off.

Wow Dom

Dominic my middle son made his Fathers
Day card yesterday Smile I think I might have some competition here!!! He chose all the bits to go on it. I only help a little bit - he would probably say I interfered Lol

Father's Day

At last I've got round to making a card for my Father in Law for Father's Day. I used a Stamper Anonymous stamp for the bird (I have been looking for this stamp for ages!) I then used a plain black slide mount and put some printed acetate behind it. I then found some white chipboard letters but I of course wanted black! So I took my black stazon pad and pressed the letters into it - this has left a pattern on the letters that looks a bit like linen so I left them ! I added a big manly brad and some glossy accents ( which you can see hasn't dried yet but I'm very impatient!)

Maggie

I stamped "Maggie with a Bow" from "Bootiful Stampz" with black stazon. Then watercoloured her in and added a gem to the flower in her hair. I then stamped the "once upon a time by Heidi Grace. Ribbon was then passed through two eyelets. And a large flower added with a checked brad.

Naughty Card

A birthday card made with the same stamps as the atc. For this card I embossed the edges of some DCWV card and the edges of the tag. I stamped the prima with spots. I have added a name to the card but I did this after I took the photo so the person doesn't know it's for them Dumb
