This weeks "My Time to Craft Challenge" is "Island Fun" So I made mine all sunny and orange! I stamped and heat embossed Linda Luckin's palm tree stamp in black and coloured the sun in. Then I cut a black and orange zig zag circle with my nesties. A piece of ribbon, some acrlic blobby things and a flower finish it off (well there's a suprise Fifi!!!!)
Playtime today! So I made a couple of things for a friends birthday and a couple of extra things. Here is one extra. I made it with stampboard covered in green inks and then stamped the trees with versafine and heat embossed them. I edged the whole thing with krylon gold leafing pen. A green flower charm finishes it off!
Here is a birthday card and present I made for my friend Lesley. The card is very straight forward. I marked her birthday with a circle and some glossy accents.
The present was difficult cause what do you make for the woman who has everything? Well here is what I came up with! I hope she liked it and finds it a little bit useful!
Some cards for an order - how come no matter how much stuff I have someone always askes for something I don't have? Hockey sticks are one of them! So I had to design my own. I hope it's not too noticable. I'm actually quite pleased with how they have turned out.
It's here at last well it has been actually since Friday but this is the first chance I've had to post my A twinchie. Well here it is at last. I made the background with small alphabet stamps stamped with brown versafine. Then I coloured the chipboard A with gold ink and added some amber jewels. I stamped and embossed in gold one of Linda's gorgeous swirls. The word was made with Tim Holtz doo dahs covered with glossy accents. To finish off the twinchie I edged it with gold krylon pen.
A card order today for a get well card. I used these fab Woodware stamps as they really are perfect. I coloured them in and mounted them on holographic card. It's been finished off with some silver card candy from Craftwork Cards.
Some more square cards - I'm managing to use up some of my never ending stash at last! This first card has a background made with one of Linda Luckin's fab backgrounds. All the elements have been edged with Krylon Gold Leafing pen.
The second card has been made the same sort of way also with the Krylon edging.
My husbands birthday soon so thought I'd better pull my finger out and get his card made. So I used the same stamps as I used for this weeks My Time to Craft Challenge. Well they are perfect for my husband! The only problem is the man in the image has more hair than Mike :O)
This weeks "My Time to Craft Challenge" is "It's Raining Men." Luckily I need a man card so I used this as a chance to make it! The stamped images are from Woodware. I cut the name and age out with my cricut. All finished off with some acrylic blobby things.
If you fancy a challenge this week or any week for that matter pop along to "My Time to Craft" everyone welcome - have some fun!
A couple more square cards made today. The first one has been made using some of the last bits of my pile of Hot off the Press paper. The dragonfly has had touches of sukura gel pen and a bindi body added.
The second card has been made using two of Linda Luckin Design stamps. The sunflower has been stamped then coloured in.
My mother's day treat as well as afternoon tea at a local cafe is a bit of me crafting time! So I made a couple of cards. The first one with the elegant swan I stamped the swan with versafine and coloured parts of it with a sukura glitter gel pen. I added some vellum with silver spots to the corner and finished it with some flowers that I had also touched up with the gel pen.
The second card is girly- this stamp is from papermania and coloured her in to match the background paper.
This is the card I made for my mum - I used my acetate butterflies cause I know how much she likes them. The word was cut on the cricut. I finished it off with prima flowers and some gems - but I think I forgot the ribbon!!! I hope she will forgive me!
Philip my youngest son's homework this week was to make a basket that will fit about 6 mini eggs and write the instructions down! So here is what we came up with - a bit of guess work here but it seems to have turned out ok! I'm looking forward to seeing it full of eggs - yum!!!
A friend asked me to make a card for her sisters 60th birthday. Her sister likes a little drink so I added a few wine bottles to this image. I hope she sees the funny side!
This stamp is a fab papermania one - she would have made a brill Mother's Day card actually with that fab bunch of flowers. The image was coloured in then touches of sukura gel pen were added for sparkle. All finished with a bit of ribbon and some card candy.
