Say No to Bullies!

Philip came out of school crying today! They had had a sheet read out to them in class that was written by one of his friends. It was about bullying and the boy concerned had said he wanted to kill himself!! These children are 9! He has been bullied - the note obviously really upset Philip so he has made him this card to show that he cares.

Flower Power

A quick card for Megan today! The flower is from a DCWV pack from QVC so is the Happy Birthday sticker. I doodled stitches onto the flower.

Boy oh Boy !!

I've made some boy cards with some woodware stamps. I think the images are fab cause they aren't too cute to use for boys. I stamped the images then coloured them in with stampin' up watercolour wonder crayons.

Favourite Cafe

I thought it might be good to make some scrapbook pages of my favourite cafe in Oxford - so here it is! I love to go and sit and enjoy a cup of coffee in here whether I am on my own or with other people.

Papers are from the DCWV rockstar stack.

Circles

I started by cutting two circles with the cricut. Then I stamped them both with images from Jayne Nestroenko. I then coloured the mouse in with watercolour pencils. The circles were then matted onto red DCWV paper. Some ribbon was added to the edge of the large circle, a paperclip and red acrylic circles added.

Guitar Hero!

Two pages of Dominic playing on the Wii on Guitar Hero - his favourite game at the moment! Papers are from DCWV "rock star" stack. Glitter word is by K & co.

Drive By

I went to a Stampin' up demo at a friends house a couple of weeks ago. I could have bought everything in the catalogue but I limited myself to 2 sets of "Loads of Love" stamps and some other things!

So here is the first of my cards made using my new stamps! I have added some dazzling diamonds but I actually got more on myself than I did on the card I think!

Crafty Saturday!

I went to a craft forum meet yesterday and we played! I had to take my three boys but they had a great time making things So I thought I would show off our makes on my blog!

Adda my eldest made a laptop! Thank you to Ajay for the instructions - it kept him busy all day! But well worth it I think.

Another card made with a new set of Penny Black Stamps!

Cute

A new stamp set today this one is Penny Black . He has been stamped using brown stazon and coloured with watercolour pencils. I covered a slide mount with gold paper and added a prima held in place with a pink brad. Of course a little bit of ribbon makes an appearance! Hedgehog coloured and made the same way .

Memories Slide Mailer

I have been making this slide mailer for

about a year now! So I thought it was about time I pulled my finger out and get it finished! It looks nothing like it did to start with. All stamps used areTim Holtz.

Pink Lola

Not really much to say about this card is there? Apart from "PINK!"

Flower

Allison's Challenge this week is "Flowers" so here is mine! Part of the challenge is no ribbons - how cruel is that??? So I used no ribbon I stamped the flower with Olive Green Stazon and added stickles to the vase. I used gems to brighten it up. I could only use two colours so picked green and pink - dunno why cause they are an odd choice really but it seems to work!

Buttons and Buckles

I started by stamping the words and leaves and buttons with vintage sepia versafine. I then cut out the leaves. For the backing paper I used K & co button paper. I added glossy accents to random buttons on the paper. The card was finished of with cream ribbon and a gold buckle cut with the quickutz.

Lola with Flowers

Another birthday present stamp! The pretty Lola! I stamped her in black stazon and the coloured with watercolour pencils. I then mounted her on holographic card. The pink card and mesh are by Papermania and the background paper is Laura Ashley. I finished her off with some pretty pink flowers and a touch of pink stickles. This card has been made with presents how lucky am I??

Beautiful Bird

At last a chance to craft! A weekend of very little crafting! This card has been made with a gorgeous stamp I got for my birthday. I stamped it with versafine vintage sepia then added stickles to the swirls by the birds feet. Glossy accents were added to the postmark. Backing paper is from DCWV old world stack. I made a thin strip of paper to thread through a quickutz buckle and added a quickutz tag. It was all finished of with a sprinkling of gems
