More Scrappy ATCs

I can't seem to stop making ATCs at the moment so more scraps of paper used up today cause i made 6!!! Not made much of a dent in the scrap paper pile yet though - that might take a few years!!

A horse for Caitlin

I was asked yesterday to make a card for a 4 year old who likes horses. So here it is a simple card but quite pretty i think!

Donald Duck?

I needed to make a card for my mum to give to my son on his birthday at the beginning of march. So out came the cricut again! Donald duck caught my eye - i hope he like it! and most of all i hope my mum likes it!!!

Scrap ATCs

I like making ATCs with all the little bits of paper left over from card making when i have the time! So here are 2 made from scraps today! The love stamp is one of my autumn leaves ones the heart filled in with glossy accents.

The dramatic pink ATC has x cut butterflies with bindi bodies

Arty Ben

Male cards are always the most difficult so i try to keep them fairly simple. This one is made using my cricut for the words and letters which i then made look stitched with a white sakura pen. I found these brilliant stickers a little while ago and they were just what was needed for a card for someone who is arty!

Pretty Betty

Today had to make a couple of cards my mum had ordered ages ago!! This one is for my Aunty - the letters were cut on my trusty cricut and the butterflies are made with a x cut die. The butterflies are finished with a silver bindi for their bodies.

Birthday Wishes

Another birthday in January! A card to match (sort of) the mini book - well they both have house mouses on them! This card was made using a Lisa Bearnson kit but i do try not to make up the cards as she suggests so out came this very cute house mouse he is coloured using water colour pencils.

Mini Notebook

Its my sister in laws birthday later this month and she now lives in Canada so present wise it is difficult! I bought her a lovely scarf but it didn't seem like much so I needed to make something quick. Here is what i came up - with a mini book! The covers are made with blue plasma stamped with a house mouse and a small blue flower charm added in the corner. The book was bound using my bind it all and the wires were decorated with blue and white ribbons. See what you think.

Pink Lady

This is a quick page using the Rubber Stamped stamp again this time stamped on mountboard. The page was coloured with pink dabbers and copper dabber round the edges a little pink ribbon finishes it off.

Birthday Book for Linda

I asked Linda what she wanted for her birthday and all she said was "not chocolate" - how helpful!! Eventually she said a little book so I told her I could do that. Here is the result! I really hope she likes it - maybe she would have prefered chocolate!!!!

Time to play

I think I deserved a little time today to play so I just got some atc blanks out and decided to see what would happen - here is the result!

This atc was made using a rubber stamped stamp called woman in repose stamped with black stazon a brad was added. Some copper thread was wound around and a small word stuck in the corner. The edges of the atc were finished off with copper dabber.

This friends stamp is one of my favourites made by Crafty Individuals - the big friend word was covered in crackle accents. Then a wire clip with a charm was added. The edges were coloured again with copper dabber. Finally a few gems were scattered around.

I must admit I had fun making these!

Fat book pages - January

More crafting for swaps -this time fat book pages for a 3x3 swap. There is no theme for this swap so I got to play with some new Autumn Leaves stamps. I stamped them using stazon and finished them of with a sparkly bindi.

Oriental atcs

More crafting that i felt i should get done and dusted! These are rubberstamped oriental atcs for a swap. I'm afraid I didn't do much rubberstamping on them but I'm quite pleased with the result.

cheery birthday card

Not really in the mood for crafting at the moment but I needed to make this birthday card. I thought bright colours might be good as the weather is so dull at the moment. The sunflower was cut on my cricut and the words are from a Brenda Pinnick kit. Not sure it will be one of my favourite cards ever but it really has turned out cheery!

Blue Card

This is a birthday card for a friend who's birthday is later in the month stamped images have been embossed in silver and name is done with rub ons. She doesn't like pretty colours so i think she should like this muted blue and the pretty black pearl embellishments.

Engaged

Hello long time no blog! Back to crafting agin after the Christmas holidays. So a gentle start today with an engagement card for a friend. All papers are from a collection by Sarah Lugg - I hope they like it.
